about us

We are physics.

The McMaster Undergraduate Physics Society (MUPS) serves the academic and social needs of about 100 undergraduate physics students at McMaster University.

We're your link to the department, we represent you within the McMaster Science Society, and we host various events throughout the year that serve to enhance your undergraduate experience, including pub nights, intramurals, and academic sessions.

Physics undergrad at Mac?

If you're an undergraduate at Mac in a program linked to the Physics Department, then you're one of us. ArtSci & Physics, Astrophysics, Biophysics, Honours Physics, iSci & Physics, Math & Physics, Origins & Physics...whatever your program maybe, you are an integral part of MUPS.

Be part of the exec.

Elections are held at the end of every winter term for the following year's executive council (with the exception of the 2nd year representative position, which is held in the beginning of the fall term). Nominate yourself then (election details will be released closer to this time).

frequently asked questions

MUPS has a FAQ section?

Nope. There aren't any questions that have been asked frequently...yet. We'll post them here as we get them, but until then, there's nothing to see here.
