My CFI-LOF application for a Laboratory for Low Temperature Magnetic and Electronic Characterization of Novel Materials has been funded. The CFI funding is $374,000, which has been matched by the Province of Ontario for a total project budget of $748,000. This funding will be used to acquire a new SQUID Magnetometer, with a He3 stage, along with various equipment for transport measurements.
