Online competition for high school students (Grades 9 to 12).

Teachers of elementary and secondary science are encouraged to explore the following opportunities:

    • McMaster Engineering & Science Olympics - A full day for high school students to visit the McMaster campus and engage in academic competitions and activities
    • W.J. McCallion Planetarium - Learn about the planets, solar system and the galaxy during shows projected on the inner surface of a dome, mimicking the movements of the nightsky
    • Let's Talk Science - Hands-on/minds-on activities for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12, on all Science related subjects
    • Nuclear Reactor Tours Take a tour of the McMaster Nuclear Reactor - by far the most powerful research reactor at a Canadian university
    • Origins Institute Public Lecture Series - Lectures open to the public about the most fundamental topics in science, including space-time, structure in the Cosmos, the origins of chemical elements, and the beginnings of life, species and consciousness
    • Sidewalk Astronomy - Check out the stars with the help of the Department of Physics & Astronomy
