WIPC (Women in Physics Canada) 2015 Conference
The fourth annual Women in Physics Canada (WIPC) conference will be held from July 30 to August 01, at the University of Toronto. WIPC is a national conference aimed primarily at (but not restricted to) graduate students in physics, astrophysics, mathematical physics and related fields. University of Toronto, July 30 - August 1, 2015.

Gr. 8 Girls in Science Day, April 24, 2015
On April 24, 2015, volunteers from GWIPA, the WISE Initiative and Let's Talk Science are hosting the second Girls in Science Day of the month. The annual Girls in Science Day for grade 10 girls happened earlier this month, on April 10, 2015. Due to the success of this and past events, Grade 8 girls who are interested in science now get a chance to particip ate in this all day science event at McMaster Unviersity, which includes a planetarium show, hands-on workshops, chemistry demos, solar observing and more, supported by the fundin g from SPICES.

Girls in Science Day 2015, April 10, 2015
On April 10, 2015, GWIPA hosted the second annual Girls in Science Day at McMaster University for grade 10 girls who are interested in science. This all day science event included a planetarium show, hands-on workshops, chemistry demos, solar observing and more.

CREST 2015, March 6 & 7, 2015.
CREST is an annual research meeting hosted by the McMaster WISE Initiative.
Many GWIPA members were in attendance at the CREST 2015 conference, which took place March 6th and 7th at McMaster University.
