Welcome

Welcome to Evert Glebbeek's home page, which is under continuous development since 1998 and has moved from Amsterdam (nl) to Utrecht (nl) to Hamilton (ca). Updates happen at unpredictable intervals and are not always immediately obvious. They should be mentioned in the ``What's New'' section below.

If you were expecting a different page (for instance, the one with CVS information), you probably tried to enter the site on an old URL that redirects here. Just use the navigation bar to find the page you were looking for and update your bookmarks (if you used one).

So did I really make these pages with Vim as the banner claims? No, not really - I didn't use Vim originally when I created these pages (I used nedit) but I have since switched to using Vim for pretty much everything. The pages are hand-written HTML+CSS though (managed by a custom program that puts it all together).

Looking for something special?

If you came here looking for the STARS code Wiki, a direct link is here or in the navigation bar.

Have a look at the source code page for some computer source code related to my research that may be useful to you (for instance, a patch for BSE to improve the treatment of stellar merger remnants).

Try the Small Stellar Collider!

If you're looking for the TWIN code, or at least the Utrecht version of it, here's a direct download link to the latest version:
TWIN code download (current, 2007.0)
Note: This version of the code is different from Peter Eggleton's original version in many ways. Have a look at the CHANGES file that comes with the archive for a quick (but probably not exhaustive) list. Feel free to contact us with any questions you may have!

If you need something special, like access to the CVS version, the version of the code that can evolve merger remnants or the MUSE plugin, contact me directly.

Then again, maybe you really wanted a Firefox search engine plugin for ADS? I have that too!
