Please note that if you are late, your reserved tickets may be given
away to those without reservations.
You can reserve your tickets and manage your reservations here.
Tickets may be available at the door, but this is not guaranteed. If a show is sold out you can choose to be added to the waiting list, and you will be notified if seats become available. We have found that the planetarium shows are generally not suitable for very young children (younger than 6 years old) due to the nature of shows. The special acoustics of the domed planetarium also means
that we ask visitors to not talk unless asking a question during the
show, which is challenging to do for some youngsters for the length of
a one-hour show. We also ask parents of older children to consider
these potential problems. We encourage those with younger children
(under 12 years) to attend the 7pm show only. All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

The planetarium hosts a variety of other events, too (e.g., birthday
parties, wedding proposals, anniversaries, etc). Bookings must be made two weeks in advance by emailing planetarium@physics.mcmaster.ca or calling 905-525-9140 ext. 27777.
